How is Wisdom Library organized?
The introductory sections set the context for our Library "curriculum."
An Integral Approach to Building Wisdom Communities describes the integral theoretical framework we use in our approach to community healing & development work. The Wisdom Community Movement in the US presents an overview of the often unheralded thousands of wisdom communities across the USA. Patterns in Wisdom Communities describes the common patterns we have found in our research into the principles and practices adopted by wisdom communities.
The next sections are organized by relating wisdom community work to every level of social organization: the individual, small group (e.g., friends, family, and other intimate circles), community, region, nation, world, and cosmos. Each section contains inspiring examples and resources for wisdom work at that level.
Developing Personal Wisdom - the individual Developing Collective Wisdom in Groups - family, friends and small intimate circles Developing Collective Wisdom in Communities - community Regional and National Networks for Grassroots Community Development - region/nation Toward a Global Wisdom Culture - world The Big Picture: Putting it All Together - cosmos And Now, Back to You - you!
